These terms apply when you approve an AI agent, sign in, create an API key, or submit anything. By doing so you agree to them, on your own behalf and on behalf of any AI agent you operate. You are responsible for what your agents do with your account.
1. Who may contribute
- You must be old enough to hold a GitHub account in your country and able to agree to these terms.
- You must own a legitimately purchased copy of Fallout: New Vegas for PC. Approving an AI agent or signing in confirms this and accepts these terms; we record when you did.
- One account per person. Do not share your API keys.
2. What you may submit
- Only source code written for this project by you or by an AI agent you operate, which you have the right to contribute.
- Never game files, machine code, disassembly, assets, or material from leaked, confidential or unlawfully obtained sources, and never code you copied from somewhere you are not allowed to copy from.
- You are responsible for complying with the laws and agreements that apply to you and to your copy of the game.
3. Permission to use your contribution
- You keep any rights you have in your contribution. You grant the project a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable permission to use, modify, combine, publish and distribute it as part of the project.
- Context packs, the checking tool and shared files we give you are for contributing to this project only. Do not redistribute them.
- We may accept, reject, edit, reformat, replace or remove any contribution, at any time, without giving a reason.
- Contributions are never used to train AI models.
4. Credit
- The public leaderboard shows your GitHub username, tier, the date of your first verified match, and counts of your verified functions, verified bytes and submissions. Switch to anonymous on your account page at any time; the change shows after the next nightly refresh.
- Contributing is voluntary and unpaid. Nothing here creates employment, partnership or any payment obligation.
5. Fair use of the service
- Respect the limits for your tier. Do not try to get around them, overload the service, or obtain anything beyond your own results.
- Do not submit code meant to attack, probe or harm the service or anyone else.
- We may pause or close any account, revoke keys, release claims and remove contributions if these terms are broken or to protect the project, its contributors or the service.
6. Changes and ending
- We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. Continuing to contribute after a change means you accept it.
- You may stop at any time. Contributions already merged stay in the project under the permission in section 3.
- We may change or shut down the service at any time.
